Content Inside: 2007 Showcase of Fashions Sponsored by: Allen County Extension Homemakers The Adult Fashion Show will be held with the 4-H Fashion Show as follows: Fashion Show Judging Schedule: Allen County Extension Office Tuesday July 10 2007 Registration: 4:00 p.m. Judging: 4:30 p.m. Public Fashion Show: Allen County Fairgrounds Saturday July 14 7:00 p.m. Consumer Clothing Allen County Adults 4-H Juniors and 4-H Seniors Send Entries To: Vickie Hadley CFCS Extension Educator 4001 Crescent Ave. Fort Wayne IN 46815-4590 Deadline: Friday July 6 2007 Divisions: I 18 thru 40 years as of January 1 2007 II 41 thru 60 years as of January 1 2007 III 61 years or over as of January 1 2007 IV Professionals - One who has actively engaged in the last 5 years (receiving any monetary compensation in excess of $1200 per year) in any phase of clothing clothing construction judging modeling fabric sales teaching or a degree in clothing and textiles. Categories - Winners in the following categories may compete at State Fair: A. Family Outfits - (1 person modeling plus up to 4 family member(s) equals a total unit of 5 members). Person wearing garment(s) he or she has made plus any other family member(s) wearing garments made for them. B. Dresses - (1 person modeling only). Street length dress one or two piece a dress with own jacket coat or vest suitable for daytime wear. Also includes jumper and blouse. C. Coats or Suits - (1 person modeling only). Separate coat for your wardrobe to be judged solely as a coat with its own accessories. Suits being two or more pieces (i.e. skirt or pants with jacket cape or vest of the same fabric shown with or without its own blouse or shirt). Jacket coat cape or vest must be lined. D. Separates - (1 person modeling only). True coordinates. May be 2 3 or more garments selected and modeled together for a complete look. All garments must be worn.
