On one side of the note is a work of art by Aboriginal artist David Daymirringu. A striking national image, however, the design was adapted without his knowledge by a designer for the Australian mint. This note brings together some of the basic moral elements for the arts money and ownership of ideas and objects. Art is often seen as recreational even relaxing.
