Burke Executive Director National Pollution Prevention Roundtable Hazardous Materials Management & Pollution Prevention: A Perfect Match Mr. Burke has been executive director of the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable since August 2003. He retired from EPA in January 2004 after 24 years of service the last 10 as Regional P2 Coordinator in Philadelphia. He was responsible for P2 grants the National Environmental Performance Track program development of the regions Environmental Management System and international P2 training. General Session Speaker: Joseph G. Acker President the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association (SOCMA) Chemical Security: Where We Are Now Where We Are Going and How It Affects You Mr. Acker will update ACHMM on current issues and trends dealing with chemical security. He was appointed president of SOCMA in March 2003. Previously he was president and CEO of DanChem Technologies and president of Hickson DanChem Corporation. Mr. Acker holds a B.Ch.E. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Bucknell University.
