Summer 2007 GAA President Keith Crusan Thanks Volunteers In the past few months The Glynn Art Association has held a festival and an auc- tion as well as several exhibits, receptions, classes, and demonstrations. Between the Pottery Studio and the Gallery, we have been able to provide an artistic outlet for numerous people from Glynn County as well as people visiting our beauti- ful area. In all we do, we strive to promote the visual arts. The one constant in all that we do is our volunteers. Whether it is answering phones, working on the computer, serving wine, or working on the finance commit- tee, the volunteers are the life force of this organization. I would like to say Thank You to all the people who have volunteered. The entire organization is grateful for your selfless hard work and dedication to the arts. Although we have a strong volunteer base, we are always looking for more volunteers. If you have an area of expertise, or simply have some time on your hands and a desire to help, just call Judith, Louise, or Shane. They will be happy to help get you involved. Remember, this is our Art association. A Note from the Interim Co-Directors —Louise Eaton & Judith Hall Louise Eaton and I have thoroughly en- joyed our time at the Glynn Art Associa- tion serving as the interim co-directors since February 26. We especially appreciate all the help from the volunteers, who have made our jobs much easier. We also appreciate the ease we have experienced in working with Glynn Art’s Volunteer Board of Directors. When you walk into Glynn Art in the mornings, you will be greeted by our assis- tant director Shane Arther with a big smile and a ready-to-serve-you attitude.
