Key Calculations The following key statistics will be calculated on a monthly basis. They will be calculated and reported for the major categories of department stores supermarkets and speciality stores on a monthly basis. Full descriptions of statistics to be calculated are included in the Appendix. a. Sales per Square Metre i. Sales Per Square Meter Per Month Calculated as the total sales for that month divided by the floor area for that store type in that centre over that month. ii. Sales Per Square Meter MAT Calculated as the total sales for that year divided by the average floor area for that category over the course of that year. The average floor area will be time weighted in the event there is a change in floor area for that category over the course of the year. b. Percentage Growth i. Same Month Last Year - % Change To ensure like with like comparisons then this percentage change must be based on a sales per square meter basis.
