The Monterey Community Band is a group of local volunteer musicians who have come together in benefit of the community.There are no auditions;however,you must be able to read music.Musicians must provide their own instrument. Contact the Recreation and Community Services Department’s Recreation Superintendent,Cindy Vierra,at 646-3866 for further information. For ages 18 and older. Robins None Choraleers The Choraleers are a group of women who sing light,popular music for self-enjoyment,growth and performance.Materials are provided.Call Hilltop Park Center at 646-3975 for more program information.A $10 fee will be collected at the first meeting. Gallaher $10 Beginning Bagpipe In this class participants will learn the basics of bagpipe. Instruction will begin on an instrument called a practice chanter and progress to actual bagpipes.A $50.00 material fee collected at first class for chanter. For ages 8 and older.
