Content Inside: TEEN ACTIVITIES Teen Hip-Hop Dance Class This dance class designed for boys and girls ages 12-16 is perfect for teens who love to dance in the spotlight and get noticed. The Teen Hip-Hop class will teach you funky new style of dancing as well as fresh hip choreography. Students should wear loose comfortable clothing. There will be no class May 29 th . Location: Community Center M/P Room Fees: $30 Dates/Times: Mondays & Wednesdays (March Only) 6 pm to 7 pm Lathrop Youth Advisory Commission Your help is needed to plan summer and fall dances trips concerts and teen classes!! The Lathrop YAC is advising the City Council on teen issues teen recreation and leisure programs and strategies to better involve the teen community in activities and programs. The YAC Committee meets 7 pm every 2nd Wednesday of the month at Community One Room. To volunteer or for more information please call Ruby Herrera at 249-1717. Teen Volunteers needed! Lathrop Skate Park Meeting Skaters and community members interested in working with the Parks & Recreation Staff to help plan summer events classes and competitions for our park! We will hold a skate park meeting on the Wednesday March 22nd at 5 pm at the Lathrop Community One Room. Call Gabriel at 249-1714 for more information. Teen Movie Nights Meet at the Lathrop Community Center for Free Teen Movie Nights! The movie is free and we will have pizza hot dogs candy and soda for sale!
