Content Inside: Poetry There are many resources for poetry and poetry criticism in the library and databases. Books or periodicals not found on one campus (Bradenton or Venice) may be requested for use on another campus. All Reference books and Periodicals are for in-library use only. Ask a librarian if you need any assistance. Books Go to www.mcc.fl.edu/Library Click on Book Catalog To find poems, poetry criticisms, and biographical information about the author, use the keyword search and type in the author’s name. These books are usually in the same section of the library. Write down the call number area for the books, and browse the bookshelves to find the books you need. For Example: Dickinson, Emily PS1541 .A6 2003 To find a particular type of poetry use keyword or subject. Example: love poetry. • For books located on the other campus, click request, complete the online form, and the book will be delivered to your campus library. • When you see the eBook icon , click on the eBook link and log on using your Borrower ID: G00# PIN: Last 4 digits of your G00#. You can search by author, poem title, or a keyword search for a specific type of poem. If the full text is not available Granger’s lists books that include the poem.
