Highlights of 2004 include: The CN Tower turned 28 on June 26 2004. The Tower s significant 28 year history as the World s Tallest Building and Freestanding Structure was celebrated along with the Glass Floor s 10th Anniversary. The first of its kind in the world the Glass Floor officially opened on June 26 1994. The CN Tower partnered with five other major Toronto attractions to make our city the first in Canada to offer a CityPass providing value-seeking visitors with front-of-the-line tickets to the six most visited attractions in the City at up to 50% savings. The CN Tower presented the world premiere of LEGO Racers: The Ride a new animated 4 minute Simulator Ride Experience beginning May 2004. Created by SimEx-Iwerks LEGO Racers: The Ride is based on the popular LEGO Racers line of build and race vehicles and inspired by the exciting LEGOLAND Attraction. The CN Tower was the first and only location in Canada to feature the touring exhibit of The Secret Life of Sets: Set Decorators at Work.
