Content Inside: CAPA Community Alliance for the Performing Arts Theatre Programs for Young People “…setting the stage for youth to succeed.” SummerFame is a performing arts program for students entering grades 7 through 12. The program features instruction in singing, acting, dance, film, movement and stagecraft. Faculty includes working professionals from New York, Hollywood and the world of entertainment. SummerFame – Session A: Intensive Acting for Stage and Film July 9-13, 16-20, 2007 Recital Sunday, July 22 at 2 p.m. at the Historic Avalon Theatre in downtown Easton This session will focus in depth on acting for stage and film with limited instruction in singing and dancing. SummerFame – Session B: Musical Theatre July 23-27, July 30 – August 3, 2007 Recital Sunday, August 5 at 2 p.m. at the Historic Avalon Theatre in downtown Easton This session will focus on musical theatre with a focus on singing and dancing. Both sessions will offer workshops in the various disciplines and in stagecraft. Classes will be held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuition is $350 for one two week program.
