With more and more support from the public (donated instruments, encouragement and genuine appreciation), these young musicians are gaining in skill and confidence. With some 12 in this group and another 30 learning their chops, the program is getting attention. The Ramblers have produced two recordings; the more recent, “Climbing Higher” was released this past August. Most exciting, their music — bluegrass, folk and country — is pretty darn good. Instrumentation includes banjo, bass, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, piano, accordion and percussion. Very reasonable rates for an entertaining and uplifting show.
