Academic activities like homework club and our class offerings. Teen-friendly place with lots of activities and supportive staff. OFH T een Center Free Drop-in! Drop-in means free activities and workshops and Wednesdays we host a free dinner at 6pm. You can also just come hang out with your friends shoot pool use the basketball hoops skate make art play video games and socialize. Drop-in is open to people aged 13-19 on Wednesdays and Thursdays 3-9 and Saturdays 3-11.A calendar of activities is available at www. theoldfirehouse.org Megan Kennedy is the new Youth Eastside Services Outreach Counselor at the Old Fire House Teen Center. She grew up on the Eastside and has worked in the area for over 10 years. She started working with youth at the Bel- levue Boys & Girls Club and Ground Zero Teen Center in 1997. She shares her time at the Kirkland Teen Union Building and the Old Redmond Firehouse Teen Center. Most of the time when I am working with teens I forget I am at work! The young people that I meet in the general teen center and counseling settings are resilient brave inspiring creative humorous and rejuvenate my spirit and dedication to this work each and every day that Im at the teen center. Her favorite free-time activity is soccer so come down and say hi to Megan and maybe she will show you some of her soccer skills.
