Initially, the novice exhibits will be judged alongside all the entries and the highest placed novice exhibit will receive the voucher. If a novice exhibit is not placed in the initial judging, all the novice exhibits will be brought forward and judged against each other, the best receiving the voucher. THE JOHN BODDY TROPHY The John Boddy Trophy will be awarded to the best sustainably managed woodland in a scheme approved by the Forestry Commission (EWGS, Felling Licence, etc). Woodland officers will identify a shortlist which will be judged by representatives of the Forestry Commission and Royal Forestry Society (Yorkshire Division). £100 is given to the Manager of the woodland. This Trophy will be awarded at the Show. CRITERIA FOR JUDGEMENT All accepted entries will be examined by the judge and marks will be awarded on a scale of 1 to 10 on the following qualities: 1. Originality in interpretation of the theme. 2. Technical Skill - actual skill in the use of tools and materials 3. Good Design - overall planning of the entry to create the desired result. 4.
